I already have an accountant. How do you work together?

Great! We believe in a collaborative approach to supercharge your financial success. Our role is to handle the day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, so financial records are accurate and up to date. This allows your accountant to focus on higher-level financial planning, tax advice, and other strategic services. We keep in touch with your accountant and give them everything they need when they need it. A good partnership means comprehensive financial management with no gaps.

What systems do you use?

At Blu BookKeepers, we use many systems. But our preferred system to use is Xero. We are a Silver champion partner, Xero payroll certified and Xero advisor certified.
Xero is a leading cloud-based accounting software that provides real-time financial data, easy collaboration, and seamless integration with various business tools. Our expertise in Xero ensures that your financial management is efficient, reliable, and accessible from anywhere.
If you don’t have Xero, we can set you up or work with your existing solution.

What's my time commitment?

Our job is to make it easier on you, so we try and minimise the time you spend on bookkeeping tasks. Throughout the month there’s regular communication and checks which you’d expect.
With our clear processes and expert management, your involvement will be streamlined and efficient, but it won’t be hands-off.

During the initial onboarding phase, expect to spend time with us to set up systems, understand your financial processes, and gather the info we need.
Clear expectations and a two-way promise is set up-front so we both know what we need to do.
For example, during the month or quarter, you may be asked to review reports, answer questions, and provide any information that supports our work.
